A New Low

I've reached it. I couldn't do Claire's math today. And then, to top it off, I wrote her teacher a note to tell her it was a "dumb" worksheet. Luckily, she has a good sense of humor... I hope. By the way, Kyle was able to save the day. I guess that why he has the doctorate.

Oh no! I'm so worried about that day. Good thing Chad is good at math. Ha, I wonder what the teacher thought about the note.

This is my worst nightmare. I just know one of our kids is going to love math, and we're going to be helpless. Yikes!

I knew I was in trouble in high school when I could barely pass 10th grade math. I knew then that my kids were doomed.
Way to go on the note. I would never have the guts to do that even though I've wanted to hundreds of times.

We had a similar assignment come home in kindergarten. Ben with his J.D. and me with me B.A. couldn't figure out the instructions. Sometimes they really are dumb assignments. Way to speak up!

Too funny, cause aren't you a teacher? But I do LOVE how you sent the note to the teacher, priceless.

I gave up trying to help Audrey with her homework at the beginning of this school year. Luckily Marc has the brains and the patience to help her (no snickering).

Love that you told the teacher what you really thought about it! I'm convinced I could never go on that show "are you smarter than a 5th grader?" I really do believe there really is just too much useless information that we force down our kids' throats. Obviously we don't remember it all, nor do we need to!

what a cute family you have. I am glad i found your blog again. Thank you so much again for all the boy clothes-it has saved us! They do grow fast don't they!?! I love the high school pictures. Hey, i just found out your parents are in my brothers ward. He was their old bishop-Tom Lamb. Small world. I guess he knows them and your in-laws well and thinks the world of both families.
