Grandma and Jack - May 2008
Where did the time go? Today it is one year ago that my mother passed away. I just wanted to take a minute to remember my mom and found this picture of her doing something she loved. I know she would be proud of us for carrying on without her here, and it hasn't been easy at times, but we have helped each other along the way as a family. I, myself, am especially proud of my dad for putting on his running shoes and staying in the race. After my sister and I made a mad rush to the temple at 5:30 this morning, I decided to spend the rest of today feeling grateful for an eternal family and for the Savior who made it all possible.

That's a great picture and a beautiful post, Nim. Love you!
Ditto with what Mater said! You did a good job Nimmie. I'm glad I got to spend part of the day with you. Love you!
Very sweet Diana.
Someday we'll have to chat about how we "commemorate" such a day. That is a sweet picture of your mamma.
Oh Nimmie. I have such great memories of your mom.
What a great post. Your mom was such a wonderful lady. I didn't know her very well, but she still always made a point of saying hi to me whenever I saw her.
